I actually got the tracking fast, and it updated without any issues. The order showed up right when it said it would, so everything went smoothly.

I ended up needing a different size, the exchange process was really smooth. Customer service got back to me quickly and helped sort it out without making it a hassle. To be fair, these things can sometimes be annoying, but they handled it well and I got my new pair fast...

I grabbed a pair of pants and a top from Akira and they were both comfy to wear all day. The fabric felt nice too, not itchy or stiff or anything like that. The only kinda annoying part was the sizing felt a little weird on me, so I did have to exchange one of the pieces. But overall, I’m still happy with what I got.

I got a dress and a pair of boots from Shop Akira and they were nicer than I expected. The dress didn’t feel cheap or super thin, and the boots felt solid too. I wore them out already and nothing weird happened, so I feel like that means the quality is good. The fit was pretty much right for me, maybe not perfect-perfect, but close enough that I didn’t feel like returning anything.

I returned a dress to Shop Akira and I did eventually get my refund, so I’ll give them credit for that. But it took a little over a week after they received the return, which felt longer than it should have. Customer service did reply when I asked, but it wasn’t exactly fast, and the answers felt kind of vague, like “it’s being processed” without any real timeline. Overall, not a terrible experience, but I wish they were clearer and quicker with refunds instead of making it feel like you’re just waiting around on a promise.

I usually hop on Akira when I want something that feels current and not, you know, boring. Their stuff is always really trendy, especially the going-out tops and shoes. Some pieces are a little bold for my usual style, but that’s kind of the whole point. I pretty much always end up finding something fun that gets compliments when I wear it. Definitely going to keep ordering.

So... I ordered a pink dress from AKIRA and was actually really happy with it. The color looked pretty much exactly like the photos online, not dull or weirdly brighter like I’ve had happen with other clothing sites. It was basically what I was expecting, and shipping was fine too. I’d definitely order again
